Shannon O'Brien

It is my privilege to meet you and I am happy you are choosing yourself by reading my bio in hopes of furthering your relationship with yoga. I am looking forward to meeting you. I value community, connection, joy and play. I use a lens of curiosity, openness and importance of focusing on fostering a return to your inner wisdom. You are the expert in your own body.  I am honored and privileged to have the opportunity to share the knowledge, from the tradition of yoga from indian, with focus on neuroscience, mindfulness techniques and meditation practices.  I found yoga in 2011 at a place in my life where I needed community, unconditional love and calmness. I often explain yoga as a safe place that we can always turn to. I hope this is what I can offer to you. I encourage people to come to the yoga classes I offer as you are. No experience is necessary for attending my classes as I am happy to be a part of your introduction to the beautiful practice of yoga or your ongoing learning with yoga. I am committed to making yoga accessible to everyone through dedication to social justice and continuing my dedication to be an ongoing learner with humility.

 Desiree Mann

Hi I am Desiree, you can call me Dez!

I am looking forward to meeting you at StudioFit.

Fitness has been a part of my daily life since the age of 10. My fitness journey began when I took fitness classes for children at a local gym, and haven’t looked back. I participated in dance, gymnastics and cheerleading when I was young and found my niche when I discovered I could combine my passion for dance and fitness. I discovered Middle Eastern Dance in 2002 and began performing and competing as a Bellydancer. In 2012 I became an ISSA certified personal trainer and was introduced to Zumba® while teaching a Bellydance class for a local gym. I teach a variety of dance and fitness classes. I am always retraining and looking for new and exciting ways to stay healthy and fit.  I love meeting each and every person that comes into one of my classes. Outside of the fitness studio I am a full time Dental Assistant of 25 years and love working with patients to keep a healthy smile. My favorite classes to teach are Zumba®, Zumba® Sentao, STRONG Nation®, Bellydance and Pole Fit.
