About this class
Sound therapy involves using sound vibrations and frequencies to activate the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce stress in the body. Â It also moves energy through the body in a way that can help to gently release energetic blocks which can induce a state of ease and harmony in the body. Â Sound therapy can promote: relief from chronic pain and migraines, improved sleep, reduction of stress and anxiety, a renewed sense of well-being, calm and happiness.
Jauné graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2014, where her primary study was focused on Traditional Thai massage, Swedish, Deep Tissue/Bodywork and Spa Treatments.  She has also studied with the Sound Healing Academy where she focused on individual and group sound healing sessions using Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks and crystal bowls amongst other instruments.
Jauné's passion for massage and sound healing therapy stemmed from her own need for relaxation, stress relief, and body work.  These therapies not only help those who have physical pain, but also can be a huge relief for people suffering from stress, anxiety and energy imbalances in their body. Â
